Carter has done a lot of good things such as Habitat for humanity houses and humanitarian aid programs through out the world. I think his heart is in the right place in those areas. However, if memory serves me right, he was president when we had long gas lines(price controls) and a 17% interest rate with rampant inflation, reflecting very bad judgement as president. Considering that, I would think that it would be time to just fade into the background and spend more time down at the old fishing hole.

The moral majority is still there and has formed into the tea party movement, standing for living within your means, restricting unnecessary spending and pursuant taxation, and allowing family members to govern their own households.  we are the ones that the Obamination claims that cling to God and our guns.   we are the ones that stand between the darkness of socialist progressive liberalism in the defense of the beacon that is America and the exceptionalism that is American citizenship.  I don't hear about people beating down doors to get to Russia.

I bet the Russians would welcome you, sir, as you seem to ascribe to the socialist values.
