**VIDEO RANGE REPORT** 1000 yards w/Surgeon .243

I recently sent my Surgeon Scalpel in .243 back to Surgeon to have a Badger FTE muzzle brake installed. Got a chance between rain storms to get to the range and do some shooting and filming.

 As you can hear in the video...the wind was blowing pretty good. But that just adds to the fun of shooting at long range.

 Turn up the volume and go full screen and you can hear and see the hits.

Load info for those who care:

107 SMK's
Lapua brass
Wolf LR primers
40.1 grains of H4350

That's a good looking and very accurate rifle you have there. Didn't look to be hardly any recoil whatsoever. What's the scope on the rifle?

Yep. The muzzle brake is doing its job. It is a NightForce NXS 8.5-32X. Here is another one of my rifles (6XC caliber) and a first time 1000 yard shooter.

That is an incredible video, your making me want to get a gun like that for coyote hunting.
