Question about scope on 12 ga ultra mag
« on: December 22, 2010, 02:24:26 PM »
I bought a new 12 gauge slug gun today. It came with 3-9x33 scope. There is no name on the scope. Anyone familiar with these scopes?

They're made by the same offshore optics mfr as those that Remington puts on their combo rifles, that's all the H&R/Marlin marketing manager could tell me a year ago, one member reported the turret adjustment markings on his were backwards, left was right, up was down.

Thanks Tim. Do you think a 2x7 Redfield would work on this slug gun?

It should work fine, great little scopes, eye relief on 7x may be a little short specially if you're a stock creeper, but on the lower powers shouldn't be a problem.
