Anyone Sold Any Fur Yet?

If so what are you getting for your coyotes, coons, and possums. That is the only three species of animal I have caught so far. What are they bringing fleshed, stretched, and dried. I am in KY.

  I can't really tell you on fur prices except one fur buyer in Okla.  is offering me $15 on coyote, $7 to $8 average on larger coon.  These are "green" prices - just skinned.    Our coyotes are probably pretty comparable to yours.  Our coon are "coat" type, also probably pretty much like your type coon.  Needless to say, he hasn't gotten any from me.  Our later goods should bring a better price.  

However, I have been selling my coyotes and grey fox to taxidermists.  So far, the average on coyotes is about $28 and the grey fox also running about the same.  If you have some taxidermists in your area and you want to take a little extra time in skinning the way they prefer, you can sure add some $$$$$ to your fur check.

here in IL we have averaged $12 a coon. unskinned (whole)coon that is. top price has been $26 so far.
