Another VIDEO coyote hunt....
« on: December 23, 2010, 12:13:11 PM »
So Frank and I head out again to do some calling. Out before first light and after a 30 min. hike we get all set up. Here is a video of how it turns out:

Take care,Stan

Another nice vid!  I found I had to use hollow points with a .243 for that very reason.  Not saying that it isn't a good caliber but I got tired of losing fur.
Which lie got to you so that you refuse Him???

after watching these hunting videos im getting ready for my present  ;D
i get to go yote hunting in the morning, my first stop will be the river bottom were i see many when deer hunting
this time they will be the target.  ;D  i do not have a camcorder so there will be no video. :(
but if i get lucky there will be pics.  i got new battery's in the fox pro call and in the decoy tested the h&r to make sure it is still on the money. 100 yrds one shot and hit a beer cap. its good now if i can just get a yote or two to come to the call. first the hurt rabbit then the pup in distress hope it works that well for me.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL  ;D ;D

Sounds like a good plan Ron. Let us know how it turns out. You will need two people if you want to film your hunts. Trying to run the camera and shoot just does not work. Good hunting.

Take care,Stan

Excellent video quality as usual.

The so called "Breakfast Call" would remind me of my Faulk, or Lohman, and the Coyotes here really like that reed.

That dog sure did look like it took a hard hit. Was suprised that it made it to the top of the hill!...they sure can be hard to see, had one zip across an opening low on it's belly to a small patch of soybeans infested with cuckle burrs that the combine apparently went around. It made the mistake of popping its head and neck up when it got dumped. Took a while to see it in that small patch of perhaps 15' x 25' when I walked up there as the blend was perfect.
