MILE STONE IN TRAPPING HISTORY.
« on: December 14, 2003, 02:05:08 PM »
Newt sent this to me and I will pass it on to all:

This is Jerry (Mister Hollywood) Braley of Kenduskeag Maine. You seen
his Picture on the Cover of THE TRAPPER & PREDATOR CALLER last year. In
the same publication a month before a article on Martin trapping where
he took Editor Paul Wait along.
------ WELL----- HERE IS A MILE STONE IN TRAPPING HISTORY. Jerry
(Mister Hollywood) Braily of Kenduskeag Maine  Caught this NUTRIA in a
110 victor set for Martin on a "Running Pole" in the NORTH WOODS OF
MAINE. He said that "it was the most unusual thing he ever caught up
here" When asked what he used for bait the reply was "WHY Beaver of
course" Jerry also informed me that he also used "JEB'S BEST"  Long
Distance Call Lure.

Hi Guys  I was very surprised to see a " newt" whoops I mean a nutria in my trap only 5 miles from canada!!  What  was not really surprising was how well my long distance call lure worked the nutria must of made a beeline up here because I set the trap on the third of the month and got him on the 8th. Now I am not going to bragg up my Jeb's Best Call , but I have alot of it for sale. On Newt's camcorder you can almost smell the Jeb's Best, in the movie. Hey Newt have you any peanuts?????????                                     I'll be back!            Jerry Braley    AKA  Hollywood Braley               PS I caught two marten after I got the nutria do you supose I sould try some nutria for bait another year??

Wacky, We dont have Nutria in New Jersey. They hav'nt made it North across the Delaware Bay.
AND puting a NUTRIA in JEB'S trap would be DISHONEST. You calling me dishonest ?
ps; I do trap North Carolinia from time to time :-)
