DYI dip camo

  I was pondering painting my ol Mossy for duck hunting in the marsh when I stumbled on Do-It-Yourself dip camo products. Does anyone have experience with them? Are they durable?  Is there one better than the other?

Where did you see this product. The only source I've seen is extremely expensive. Also I've been unimpressed with the results..

  The internet. I was looking at a couple funky painting posts on U-tube that didn't impress me when I came across these products. Click the link on my previous post "Anyone ever paint a gun". There are some folks tout these products on other web sites. They want $100 for a kit. I'm still not sure so I brought it here.  All I want is my ol'Mossy not to stand out in the toolies. If it looks professional and stands up better to a salt water marsh the better! I have a Beretta 390 ST that's had some wear that I wouldn't mind usung this product on if it does what they say.  BTW I consdered sending it out to have it dipped but they want $200 plus shipping for a gun I paid $168 for 20 years ago and that was after the 25 dollar back round check fee

 Look in the H&R rifle section at the FAQ top of the page. There is a couple articles about painting. Also do a search and you will come up with several lines of previous post. Myself I have painted a few. I like the self etching auto primer, it is olive green. Sticks very well. Then cut you out a few leaf and grass patterns. Use what colors fit your fancy. If I had high dollar guns I would opt to pay to have it done. But mine are not. I use them, alot.
