For starters, if it's a 7mm Rem mag, it's a standard-length action vs a short or medium length - which were the only two length Sako action that Browning restocked as Safari's etc.
So, it's most likely a short extractor FN Mauser action.
1969 is also near the end of the infamous Browning "saltwood" era - where Browning used wood that was speedily salt cured - fast, but rusted the gun metal below the stock lines.
A peek at one of the buttplate or recoil pad, to inspect for rust, will usually tell the tale for that particular gun - although the screws "could" have been switched out recently.
