Another Handi Shorty

12ga I picked up from my Father the other day. Really was worse for wear. Barrel was really messed-up at the end (Looks like it may have got runned over).
Cut it back to 18-1/2". Drilled and tapped a hole for the front bead sight. Fashioned the bead out of a brass screw. Squeezed and peened the slot over and then filed it into a bead. Works well and is just the thing I was looking for to keep at my trailer.

 I have a couple too and they are GREAT for what your using it for!!!

I see what looks like a quick take down screw on the forend too!!  ;)

What is/are the rawhide tassles on the trigger guard?

The rawhide was there when I got the shotgun. I was planning on taking them off, but they just look right on it when it is hanging on the wall.
That is a quick take down screw. Used to be the mounting screw for an old CB radio. With a washer, it works well as a forearm screw.
