Guys I recently purchased my first custom rifle from nosler the model 48 in 300wsm, any other members have a Nosler and what is your opinion of them thanks,Marc

Congratulations on your purchase.  Although, I hope you did a lot of research before buying and didn't buy, now are doing research.

I'm not sure which Nosler rifle you bought since they are all the model 48 (Custom Sporter/Varmint/Trophy Grade) minus the "Custom Rifle", which still has the same action.

Cerakoting the barreled action is a definite plus against corrosion, much better than stainless or bluing, and it is incredibly abrasion resistant. 

The Bell and Carlson stocks are not the most expensive (or the best IMO) stocks to have around, but Remington uses them a lot and now some custom gunmakers are as well.  I got a lemon of a B&C stock a few years ago, so I'm not a big fan, but maybe they've improved lately.  The aluminum bedding block design is better than just slapping a wood/laminate/plastic stock on a barreled action, but the fit will not be as precise as an actuall bedding job by yourself or a qualified gunsmith.  I like the way that Nosler puts down that "...the whole package is custom aluminum bedded..." (trophy grade ad).  A bit of salesmanship to the unknowing if you ask me.

It appears that they use either Rifle Basix or Timney triggers, both are quite good.

All of the packages seem to be pretty well thought out with accuracy guarantees of 3/4"-MOA at 100yds (maybe 1/2" for a couple of the Nosler Custom calibers).

For a $3-4K price though I personally would have gone the true custom route, like the GA Precsion Non-Typical.  More customization and options for the same price, better components, and exceptional workmanship. http://gaprecision.net/ga-precision-2010-custom-rifles/ga-precision-non-typical.html

All aside though, I think that you have got your hands on a very nice rifle, I've only handled one, and they seemed to be made quite well.  Hope you have many good years with it.

my nosler model 48 custom sporter out the door was 2195.oo for gun shipped and delivered to my ffl. I feel it is one of the best rifles out there, bar none for the money and qualit,regards Marc
