I have some clearshot. Does the gun need to be cleaned the same day as with BP or Pyrodex. Going to Visit brother and family they want to try some bp guns. Just want to know if the cleaning can be put off a day or two with the clearshot. Would rather visist with family then clean the guns.

Clear shot is no deferent than any of the others. You need to clean as soon as you can.

I always clean as soon as I get home from shooting, even with smokeless.  My dad taught me this, it's a good habit, and a good time to sit together and jaw on what we did.  I always teach novice shooters to clean after shooting, it's a habit that will serve them well, especially if they don't shoot very often.  I admit it's different for someone shooting smokeless every day.
