"Realism" was the almost shut down state of this country as GWB left office. You can thank Obama for keeping the doors open......
Things were looking pretty grim with the Dems in control of congress and Bush at the helm.
Seems to me we got a lot deeper in the hole even AFTER that...according to ALL the sources.
I'm wondering.... if the Dems and Bush had us "almost shut down" then...and things got much worse with Dems still in charge...what in the world is your point? If there IS one...
How about we just agree that spending money we don't have regardless if it's under a republican pres and dems, or a Dem pres and Dems...is just plain stupid? And what if the party name Rep and Dem don't really mean much...?
