I was a Muslim for 12 years until I found Christ. Islam is a the political belief that expresses world dominance by either force or sheer growth of numbers which places them from a minority to a majority group within a society. There is no tolerance for other political/theological beliefs. The sharia law is everything opposite of human rights. There is no such thing as "moderate Islamist". All Muslims believe that all societies must eventually submit to Islam, whether it be through jihad or self preservation.
I'm just keeping it real. Anyone tells you different is full of malarkey.
I was baptized catholic and raised in a Christian home. Like so many black Americans in this country I was influenced by people who were incarcerated and brought Islam to the communities. It was new and different and promising ( as lies often are). I took my shahada ( proclamation) against my parents’ permission when I was 18 years old. I was brainwashed, lied to, and taught to despise the very country I was native to. At 24 I decided to leave the "community" and search for answers. I returned to reading the bible and started questioning what was in the Quran. I still attended worship in the masjid. One day I was approached by several of my "brothers" and was warned to either come back ( I was told I was slipping) or suffer retaliation. Turning your back on Islam is punishable by death, but I was in America, right? I renounced Islam at the age of 28, and never looked back. I'm 49 now. A couple of months after confiding in a friend that I renounced the " religion", I ran into my former brothers on the public el train while going to work. They told me if it wasn't for the crowded train that they would cut my f****ing head off! For the first time in my young life I broke the law by carrying an unregistered gun for my protection. One of the s.o.b.'s found out where I lived and knocked on my door. I greeted him with a walther 380 in his face. Nothing happened after that but idle threats. Later that same year I became on of Philly's finest. Islam is not a fad. It is a threat to not only this country but the whole world,

can not be forced on one soul..its been tried by a few misled folk, who just didn t really understand thier actions were
totally against christ teachings..
 the possible acceptable exception to this is saul ,later called paul, while on the road to damascus ,i believe..
 christ was pretty forceful with him..but with good purpose as any who know the bible can testify of..
 so i guess christ himself, can use force to bring about his work on this earth..
  as a young boy,my dads  22 rifle misfired for the first time, when pointed right between my eyes..
 at that age i didn t even know that gun could misfire..i never told dad what a crazy childhood friend had done..
 if id told him ,it would have been a bad situation ,that might have sent dad to prison..so i kept that to myself..
  but from then on, i knew the savior my mom taught me about ,,really did exist..
 he is the way to eternal joy..this is my testimony to any who would listen..

Powder, Took a lot of courage to do what you did. I suspect that a lot more Muslims would get out but they aren't as strong as you are. Has to take a lot of courage for you to make a post like this rather than just letting sleeping dogs lie and hope that your "misdeeds had been forgotten.  May God bless you for your stand.

my daughter had always rolled her eyes at me when I griped about muzzies. until last night.
on the local news was a story about a group of them here in Dekalb county.  they bought eight houses and turned them into a slum compound.  it's so bad that a judge has ordered them torn down.
of course they ignored the order and their imam told a reporter that they don't have to obey our laws.
so anyone who thinks this a religion, needs to look a little closer.
it's nothing but organized crime.

I've never had a proper Islamic education and I don't need one to realize that the average follower of Islam just wants to be left alone.  I used to have frequent dealings with people of all races and religions and honestly the ones that were hardest to deal with was your average white male "Christian".
 
Granted I was often bothered by the lack of deoderant and need to haggle set retail prices with members of other cultures, but in the end they bought their truck parts, left and never told me I needed to convert from being a Christian.  There were never any attempts to murder me either.

That's strange, your experiences have been kind of like mine. Didn't think that was possible. Back in the 70s when I was in college we had a number of Persians (Iranians by todays speak) that attended there. Became friends with a few and learned to know others. Not one tried to kill me or even mentioned religions. They liked the American lifestyle just fine. In fact they seemed a lot like most of the other students at the time. Guess I was lucky. It was kind fun to go to a  Mexican fast food place that was run by Persians trying to pass themselves off as Mexican.

Incest and inbreeding causes a much higher probability of birth defects. Why wasn't there any birth defects that were written about during biblical times, if incest was so common and a method for populating the world? Stories become exaggerated through generations but science has been constant for millions of years. Even inbreeding pets will cause birth defects and eventually, the blood line will cease to exist. Why hasn't that happened with humans if incest was so common? Medical science has prooven it will happen with inbreeding. Adam and Eve could be nothing more than a fable, like Jason and the Argonauts.

   So that is where I thought it was OK to introduce the bible into the discussion.  AFTER I was accused of not believing in Jesus Christ by the OP.  Which coincidently he hasn't explained how he can disprove my faith in Jesus...  Still waiting on that answer there PM...
