fire lapping a .17 rimfire ?

Veral, first let me say welcome back. I still have your book and a fire lapping kit I ordered from you a few years back. I`m also a die hard believer in the LBT style bullets.
My question is: can a .17 HMR rifle be fire lapped and if so how?.
Problems: rimfire case and 2550 fps vel.

It would have to be handlapped. Fire lapping isn't possible without reloading or using slow lead bullet rimfire rounds as in 22 rimfires, including 22 mag, using LR ammo to lap with.
