Killing in many cases is just what was intended . Even one on one as self defense is OK. No where do I remember reading where a christian was to lay down and be beaten to death. No where are we forbidden from going to the aid of others. There is a war going on between Good and evil be it in your town with drugs or across the sea in some third world country . Either you resist it and fight for good or you become one of them.

Well I agree too...I was just pointing out no matter what we call ourselves we have to be very careful we don't repeat the things we have done in the past...have to be careful.  Many people have died over religion, they are now.

As a Christian it is our job to go out and tell others about God. Once churches were developed things got out of hand. In America we have laws that in effect will be used to defeat us if we allow it. Even the second amn. could be changed or taken out if enough states ratifyed doing so. Remember we could drink , then we could not , then we could . Evil will use every option aval.

jimster? all those quotes were appropo, butr it must be remembered that many evil men and women have, over the course of history, used the name of Christ as a cover for deeds of darkness! unfortunately, theym frequently lead the more weak minded among the breathren into actions unbecoming of a believer. this is where the stronger beleiver is needed to bear the burden of the weaker one. ultimately, we all, as believers, need desperately to lean on each other, and bear each other up, continually reminding the other of the WHOLE meaning of the gospel, out of recognition of the fact that any one of us can fall prey to error!

defeating Christianity is the number one priority for the socialists, communists, fascists, secularists, and godless ones.  they are very aware that Christianity is the only major religion that recognizes the agency of man, free will (ie freedom of choice), and promises of a salvation greater than any communist utopia (esp the one one Obama believes in).   this nation was founded on chrisitan principles of charity, patience, tolerance, compassion, and liberty.   i know many people love to make pedantic posts with lots of quotes, but i will one share only two:
