Serial Prefix on SB2

per the Faq:  serial number prefixes changed in May 2008, CBA for SB2.  Does that mean that 2009= CBB  and 2010= CBC  ETC?  Just wondering?

So far no one has reported any other serial number prefix on any Ilion firearm, still waiting for something new to be reported. My 6x45(223 Rem) came direct from H&R early this year, still has CBA prefix.

It's confirmed, Ilion is using a different serial number system than Gardner did, only they can tell when a frame was made.  :-\

Just bought two new this weekend, a 243 ultra and a 45/70 Handi.
Both still have the CBA stamp on them.
Only markings on the barrels were the caliber.
Nothing about being an ultra.
