Making your contender perform booklet
« on: December 15, 2003, 09:08:15 AM »
Gents,
I have recently moved and lost my copy of this booklet that came with my contender frame that I bought in the late 80s.  Would any of you happen to have one that I could copy or does anyone know where there might be one posted on the web that I could download.  This book was very helpful with load data and tips and gave instructions on forming brass for and loading the herretts and also for hotshots.  If can help me out, please email me at graycg@aol.com.  I would be happy to defray copying and mailing costs.

thanks and regards,

Graycg

I'm sure I have a copy.  Do you need the whole booklet copied or just the hotshot and brass forming pages?

PM me your address and let me know what you need.

Gray/Greg,
What booklet is this? I have the red one that came attached to a new frame, but it's only the instruction booklet. Can you post a pic of the cover maybe? Who published it?
Thanks,
Bill

Scanned cover, but small text does not show up well...I'll have to experiment then scan the whole booklet to be available to whomever wants!

Those little booklets sell for $50.00+ on Ebay   I know because I sold five of them there for over $50.00 each   I actually felt guilty when the auctions ended

I copied it to a disc and then enlarged it, but then it was too fuzzy to read.  If you could, please email it to me at clev.const.@citynet.net

I'll take one too, e-mail it as an attachment is fine or fax it, or snail mail. any way it works is OK by me. I'll even send you postage if you can't get it to scan ok, and buy you a cool beverage of your choice at the local watering hole.

I would be glad to pay for the effort , Maybe email it to Quicksdraw45@juno.com and I will print it from here . Or by sanil mail would be fine .
Thanks
