Cheap 45 ammo
« on: December 31, 2010, 09:51:29 AM »
The UMC is much cheaper then Winchester white box at Wally World. Any difference between the two. Does anyone use Wolf ammo? I'm just looking at General plinking/target ammo.

I reload most everything I shoot, but I have a case or two of Wolf laid back that I bought when it was about $60.00 a case.  It shoots pretty good, but its hard on extractors.

I wouldn't think there would be much difference between the UMC and Winchester, especially if both are loaded with a 230 grain hardball bullet.  Get the cheaper one.

I shoot mainly wolf ammo in all my calibers.  I'm kind of hooked on it because of no reloading.  I paid about $6.87 a box of 50rds of 45acp wolf when it was dirt cheap and i stocked up on it.  Finding wolf ammo now is rare.  But the russian imported 9mm luger and 9mm mak is affordable right now.  I tend to sway and shoot what ever i can afford and is very cheap at the time too. My norc and new AO both have 500rds thru them so i can back off now on testing them.  Yup we shot all wolf ammo. The wolf ammo seems to sell out very quickly now too if you can find it.  CZY
