The signs say, “Israeli War Crimes: Your tax dollars at work.” And it uses children, who are staring at a pile of rubble, to try an trumpet its anti-Israel message. Those signs will soon be plastered all over Seattle-area buses, and the government says there’s nothing it can do:

A group calling itself the Seattle Mideast Awareness Campaign has paid King County $1,794 so that 12 buses will carry that message around town, starting two days after Christmas. That’s December 27: the two-year anniversary of Israeli attacks on Gaza, aimed at stopping rocket attacks and weapons smuggling.
Ed Mast, a Seattle man who is a spokesperson for the group, says it’s not meant to be an anti-Israel message, but a message designed to generate discussion and awareness.
“I wouldn‘t say it’s an anti-Israel message any more than any complaint about a country is anti-that country. We would like Israel to stop violating human rights. We would like Israel to give equal rights to its Palestinian citizens and its Palestinian subjects who live under occupation,” said Mast.
At the Pacific Northwest office of the Anti-Defamation League, the ad campaign is seen quite a bit differently.
“We’re dismayed,” says Community Director Hilary Bernstein, who calls the bus-born advertisement grotesquely one-sided. “Citizens young and old will be seeing this sort of propaganda, this very one-sided distortion. It’s unfortunate.”

“As a government, we are mindful of the provisions in state and federal constitutions to protect freedom of speech. So, we can’t object these campaigns simply because they offend some people,” King County Metro Transit spokesperson Linda Thielke told the station.

If a mothers life is in jeapordy then all means neccessary should be used to save her life, but the mother should have the say if it comes down to her or the child. most abortions are used as birth control, not necessities. Why kill a baby because of a mothers sins or indescretions??
In case of rape, have the baby, if ya don't want it give it up for adoption. Why murder a child because of the actions of others??? The child didn't ask to be born. Legal killing has taken this to epidemic proportions. The female faces few risks so they have nothing to fear. Years ago when a woman decided to kill her child there was a risk of them dying too, made em think twice, maybe 3x. If a woman plans to murder her own flesh and blood I have no complaints that she also risk her own life, to take a life. POWDERMAN.

I well remember a testimony in church from a woman who had murdered her baby 30 years ago. She cried as she said that she cried every day, wondering whether she had killed a boy or girl, what she would have named it, whether she would now have grandchildren. God forgave her but she couldn't forgive herself. I saw her at wm last year and we talked a bit, she's good now, she finally forgave herself after all these years. Yes, this thread has drifted a lot. Ya, how did this turn into abortion anyways?  Well..abortion is a political subject for sure.  What I have noticed are things like....

A liberal scientist will claim there is "life" on a planet if there is a single cell organism to be found anywhere....but he somehow can't find "life" in a human woman's womb when asked about that.  That is pure politics, pure and simple...take it for what it is. Also interesting to hear people discuss if an embryo is life or not...
Embryo, as currently used in human embryology, means 'an unborn human in the first 8 weeks' from fertilization....or something like that?  I don't think the argument is
if these things are true, liberals admit thy are true, but only in certain settings...kind of pick and choose when it comes to LEGISLATION that may affect them, if you know what I mean.  There needs to be a way for them to eat their cake as well. You know how it goes.

Anyways...to address the first post, seems like a lot of propaganda over there, but there always has been in that area. What concerns me only is if my tax dollars fund this group calling itself the Seattle Mideast Awareness Campaign, I'm not even going to investigate this, I'm almost afraid to do so.

 Perhaps the buses should have a paid advertisement on them concerning Islamic Terrorists.
