Haven't ordered from Midway for awhile. Just so happens, they sent me a e-mail Happy Aniversary today, but no discounts.

Not sure what that number is Doug.  A 'famous' movie number (perhaps).  But [any area code] and the lyrics of 867-5309 (from the song) is quite usable.  NASA has that exchange in my area code.  No one answers the phone.  I suspect it is ET's number and he has already left the building.

Yesterday I recieved my order from Cabelas of over 3,000 rounds of ammo. It arrived on time, packaged perfectly and everything was correct. Competitive price as well. They always get it correct at Cabelas. I placed likly over a hundred orders with them over the years and I can only remember one issue. They treated me well and fixed the problem. I have on occasion ordered from other places because the price spread was more than I was willing to pay for a particular item. So while they might not always have the best price on everything they do an excellant job.

Oh Man!  I've been weened from the days of rotary dialing.  Today, I either look up the phone number on the Internet, carry a phone book in the truck, and sometimes call home (on the cell phone) to ask them to look it up in the directory for me.

Few know about the XXX-555-1212 option for diredctory assistance. All you need is the area code and even if its in a near by area code they can usually give you the number. And the other thing is it automatically sends a text message to your cell phone with the phone number and they connect you to that number at no cost. The call costs you to begine with these are just added services. I've used this for many, many years. It's been around before cell phones.

It has been a gloomy and rainy day outside today.  One of the BEST days of the year so far.

At 9PM this evening, out of the fog comes the [very-very late] UPS truck carrying my exchanged RCBS Pro-Melt 120V furnace.  I can now start casting boolets.  Oh yeah!

Excess charges between the returned furnace and the one in hand were charged to me as I had asked.  The return shipping fee from me back to MidwayUSA was credited to my daughter's credit card as I had asked. 

All is well that ends well.
