Which scope for Win. 94 with side mount?
« on: January 03, 2011, 02:04:26 PM »
My nephew wants to put a scope on his 94 with a side mount,he would like a 2-7.The last win. 94 I had with the same mount, I had to rotate the scope so the emptys would eject.I tried a tasco 3-9 I had & I couldn't turn it far enough to work.

The Weaver 49350? Made for older scope with no extra material around the turrets. Like a Weaver K. Or a Japanese Bushnell. You can grind out enough material to make new scopes work. Hope that was the answer.

If it were me I would choose the Nikon Prostaff 2-7X32mm shotgun scope. Lots of good reviews on them. Many people
use them on their 30-30's. they run around $140 give or take.

2-7x32 Leupold shotgun scope with heavy redical. Nice compact scope and the crosshairs stand out in a set of heavy woods.
