Prayer for the family

Please say a prayer for the family of my first, best friend and best man at my wedding.
He passed in his sleep on Dec 30 2010 at the age of 51.
Good bye ol friend, til we meet again!!!

Thanks to all, I am sure they would say that.

We laid him to rest today, I was an honorary pallbearer.
His family were the main pallbearers.
I have been a pallbearer for a lot of friends and most of my family.
I consider it an honor to be asked but today was different.
I helped carry my Grand Parents, my Mother & my Brother, but this time
it was much harder.
I useually do very well at funerals but today I wasn't quite as strong as I thought I was.
I am not ashamed, nor do I care what others may have thought.
He was as close as family for a good part of my life.
He was my first, best friend!

He is close to our family plots so I will tend his just as I do ours and no one else ever needs to know.

LT,nothing is much harder than loosing a long time"best"friend.I've lost two.With the exception of loosing a daughter in 1985 at the age of two,nothing,not even my folks hit me so hard.Prayers and though go out to you and his family.Slow

TOM. More prayers sent friend. I buried my best friend Tank April 20 last year. I stood up for him when he married, he stood up for me when I married. I made most of the arrangements for his funeral and was a pall bearer too. I think of him daily. I do know how you feel. Charlie  :( :( :( :( :( :(

 I'm sorry for your Loss along with his and your family's
If he was a friend as you say he was like you (lesson from my Mom about friends)
I'm sure he was a Stand-up Man,I'm set back more when I see how young he was
I am truly sorry
