I has dropped a bit here in CT. It's now just under 4.00$ for 87 octaine reg.

Yesterday a retailer lowered his price to 1.85$ a gallon for two hours. The line was over four hours long and local Democrats are crying foul because the retailer has many Republican banners and supports Romney/Ryan. The say its buying votes... Well a private citizen soon red the sale so too bad for them!!

I drove by, but I detest lines and traffic like that. I would not have sat I. It is it was a FREE tank of fuel!!! Four hours of my time is worth more to me than the cost of the tank of fuel.

I paid $1.80 a gallon to fill my truck up today. Pump price was $3.399 but I had a $1.60 a gallon reward bonus for buying groceries at Winn Dixie which we've been doing for a great many years anyway. My cost for 18.95 gallons of gas was $34.11. I was authorized up to 20 gallons at the discounted price but I just couldn't squeeze anymore into the tank.

It really pizzez me off to think that the lobbyists and oil big wigs are conspiring with this current administration to lower gas prices right before the election to buy votes..If the president actually has that much pull in gasoline prices, then he should have done it 4 yrs ago....also if the fatcats want him re-elected, then I'm not sure I want him back...Maybe Romney has too much money already to be bribed and they are afraid of that?

Kind of shows the mentality of voters when who they vote for is based on the price of gas. Its no wonder we end up with elected people like we got.

The lower priced stations here in S W Wa. were in the three fifty something per gallon range, yesterday.
If the oil companies are doing something to lower the prices ahead of the elections because they support Hussein, I'd have to say they are nuts.  He has never left any doubt about how he feels about big oil.  In spite of that, their bottom line seems to have done very well, but if they think Obama won't torpedo them every chance he gets, they're living in the same fantasy world that liberals live in.

It's 3.19 in central minnesota now. Biggest gap between gas and diesel prices I've seen: About $1.06 difference per gallon. 3.19 vs 4.25.

I paid $3.29 yesterday, here in S W Washington.  So far I haven't heard a thing about why the price is suddenly dropping, but I don't really care why--just continue.

Gas finally dropped below $4.00 a gallon.  It's $3.999 at Holiday, and Tesoro, Stations.  It's been over $4.00 a gallon for over three years.  At one point about 6 or 7 months ago it was $4.80.   Diesel last night was $4.25 and with a .20 cent discount at Safeway I got the max of 25 gallons.  Then had to pay the full amount for 7 gals to finish filling up.  Will probably pay $5.00 a gal up along the Haul Road in Coldfoot next week.  Was planning to leave to day, but the temp dropped last night to 30 below.  We can wait a week.
