At the bottom of the first pictures is says something about "six fingers"(probably the seller). Whomever buys this thang and leaves the scope on it will probably get called "Ole Caved in Forehead".

I doubt the scope can be moved forward over .5 inch.  Better wear a hockey mask.

this thread was a bad idea.....thats a fine ol 45/70.  maybe somebody can really use those nosebleed see throughs...to each his own.   :'(

Real nice gun. Real crappy scope mounts. Looks like the gun is in excellent shape. Just take that junk off the top and your good to go.
It does look ridiculous. Not to mention the most un-practical and goofy sighting system ever concieved......Pretty funny alright!
