I'd say it's about time we had a decent winter.  Back in the 1980s it would be so COLD for weeks that when the temperature got up to 32 degrees it felt downright balmy.

Now, if we can just get a decent amount of snow...

You sure are right about the arthritis. Lots of fun. Highs have been in the 20's here for two weeks. 14 at 7:30 this morning.
Two weeks ago we got hammered here. More snow than my snow blower would handle.  :o
Glad i am retired and don't have to go out if i don't want to.  YES i am tired of winter.

i do not mind the winter cold or snow ;D
it is the little thing that bother me, not that it is -1 this morning but that i for got to plug in the heat tape on the well pump.as of this minute we have no water (the heater is now on in the well house)so my morning coffee will be noon coffee. i guess i need a list of things that i could check off  ??? but i probably for get some thing any way.  ;)
so with that stay warm and comfy or get out there and do some hunting.

I'm ready for spring!  Kinda miss those milder winters a few years back.  Uncle Arthir (from the Thritis side of the family) is not my favorite uncle!

At this point all I can say is " Is it over yet " , tried to go shooting last weekend , managed to pop off 25 rounds before my hands said GO HOME !

Have been able to get a ton of ammo loaded and even put my mind to dreaming up a few odd-ball things too , like making all brass 410 case's out of 303 Brit brass and trimming down 308 case's to make 44 Auto Mag brass .

You know the things you don't do when its warm enough to do the real important things like SHOOT !!!!!!  ;D

It's FANTASTIC!  Snow forcast for the next 5 days with it never getting above freezing so it will all stick!

Just think, if it wasn't for winter, we would have fire ants, a lot more cockroaches, piranhas and who knows what else.  We have a lot to be greatful for.

FINALLY, enough snow to do something with.  The grandkids were over today to get towed behind an ATV on their sleds.  A good time was had by all.

It is a bit chilly.  I tried out my new 444 Marlin Encore barrel today.  Results are very promising but snow and cold kept me from shooting as long as I otherwise would have.

The quad wouldn't turn over fast enought to fire yesterday.  Guess I should have put lighter oil in it a few weeks ago.....

Hey, what's the story on tire chains?  We moved here 4 years ago from Alaska where I would chain up regularly (poor man's 4 wheel drive).  Now I hear that they are illegal in Ohio.  First I was told they couldn't put them on school buses, today i was told that no one can use them because they tear up the roads.  Please inform me!

I hadn't heard chains were illegal in OH and I think I saw some used several years ago on a UPS truck.  Really, though, most of OH is so flat you can get by without chains.

seen county trucks here in knox county last week running them,  usually  dont see them unless its ice storm , i see them hangin on the new school buses too. i do know that there is a limit on when you can use studded tires also , i think its march they have to be off the car  ,
