I have seen steel "T" shot fired from a Remington 11-87 that had an aftermarket screw-in Turkey choke still in it from Spring turkey season. my friend (really, not my screwup this time
) shot a couple of geese with it and other than a bruised shoulder nothing bad happened. I would think a fixed full choke would be a lot stronger, probably stronger than the fellow pulling the trigger.
