I have to respectfully disagree; this forum was orginially set up for a variety of subjects that didn't fit into gun-stuff catagories, but it's Bill's playground so he makes the rules.

Political absurdities here are usually fun. Sawing back and forth on "hard core belief's and openions" can get intrusive/grateing at times. Unless you just don't open them IF titles give enough info to know what the thread is about rather than being written like a commercial come on that perks your interest to look and has nothing to do with the actual subject. jm2cw  ear

the negative tone coming from alot of the "discussions" was too much for me anymore.   it was dominating the forum.  now, i can just avoid all of it when i come here.   i like the change.

+1 and it became so repetitive.   The same 5 people just kept saying the same thing over and over.

+1 from here also.  I don't know which is worse, the politics or religion, but it was a good move.

It appears the only ones complaining were those on the left! But that is their game, whine and cry about the mean spirited people on the right until they get them silenced!
I saw the same thing on the muzzle loading forum, the owner there caved and closed the political forum. I no longer go there.
They want civil discourse where only left wing views are allowed!

Graybeard was here. You might want to go to the top and read my comments on the way things are this year. Be nice or be gone.

Any liberal view that presented in a political post was immediately jumped on by the hard core right wingers that were posting here and it was the same thing over and over,Bush could do no wrong and Obama could do no right. It seemed that no one could keep an open, intelligent and informed mind. Over and over again it was the right is right and the left is wrong. I'm glad they have their own little play ground to go to.

Beginning to look like this post may need to be moved.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I don't mind where it is moved, as long as we are given a place to exchange our ideas and argue our points.
