Help with identifying shotgun
I have recently obtained an old Belgium 12 ga. shotgun, it has the classic Belgium barrell marks of E over LG In an oval with a crown on top of the oval and a star beneath the LG. The maker's name, Johann Scharr, appears on the sidelock (its an external hammer gun.
:-) I am looking for more information on the maker and/or the shotgun. The serial number of 1279 appears on the water table of the receiver. :eek:
