Royal snub for the Obama's....
« on: January 15, 2011, 06:37:50 AM »
Royal snub for the Obama’s:

Prince William and Kate Middleton wedding: President Barack Obama and Michelle are not invited!

Michelle is livid over the snub and Obama can’t believe it.  What is happening and what can I do about it seems to be the thoughts in Obama’s head.  Meanwhile, William and Kate have it together.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are planning a royal wedding in April, 2011.  Prince William personally told the wedding planners to strike Obama’s from the guest list.  He stated, “I did not want Michelle Obama trying to pull her center of attention ploy trying to upstage Kate on Kate’s wedding day”.  Sources reveal that William said, “She may run Obama, but she doesn’t run me or England”.  The Democrats and Obama would like to play the race card as they have done so many times in America , but it is difficult when other black heads of states are invited to the wedding and will be warmly received.

Now, what is the future King of England's reasons for snubbing the Obama’s to the world and making them a laughing stock?  It has nothing to do with America beyond being so stupid as to elect such low class imperfection to the office of President and First Lady.  The decisions they make can and will affect the World. Secondly, Michelle called his mother Diana an over sexed clothes horse and further stated that she, Michelle, was more popular than Diana ever was.  Thirdly, Michelle Obama showed her butt at every major social function endeavoring to be the Queen in the lime light.  In other words, just a lack of class.  Fourthly, the Queen Mother, William’s grandmother also has her reasons.   Obama refused to bow to her, but a few days later bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia .  Michelle manhandled her by becoming too familiar by putting her arm around her.  The Queen only shakes hands with gloves on … those are the traditions and still honored by the Royals.  The Queen said to her staff, “Never allow that woman to be in the same room with me again” and she meant every word of it.  The gifts from Obama and Michelle were both tacky and in poor taste…it's all a matter of class.  In addition, the Queen Mother supported Prince William in his decision because the word is out about the lavish booze parties at the White House, the expensive vacations, and state visits  costing the American tax payers billions of dollars un-necessarily when the American people need the resources  We here at True American can’t decide if it's just low class or no class.

The Obama’s are desperately trying to make it a slight against America.  Every past Head of State has always been invited.  This is not a state function as William is not yet a Sovereign.  It's just a multi-million dollar private wedding and the Obama’s have been royally snubbed by the British Royals; not America, just the present classless leaders…The True American!

While I dont believe the president should bow to any world leader I can understand the queen feeling slighted when he doesnt bow to her but runs and grovels before every muslim dictator that he can find.

And as for the prince not inviting the Obamas? Suddenly my respect for the royals has racheted up a few notches.

I wouldn't invite them either.

I suppose the Queen is worried about the royal china and silverwear disappearing.

Good News!!!
Thanks to the royals we'll be saving $200 M a day and won't have to dispatch 34 battleships and an aircraft carrier to England.

Perhaps some here have forgotten the exceptionally rude snub the messiah/king gave the UK !

I could understand it, had the US in 1942 returned a Hitler or Tojo bust given us in 1934. After all, that is the way you "return the compliment" to a sworn enemy.

Perhaps some here have forgotten the snub given to the UK as soon as he took office.  You can be sure the Brits haven't !

I couyld understand, had the US in 1942 returned any bust of Hitler or Tojo given to us in say, 1936.  That is the way you "return the compliment" to belligerent enemies.

What in blue blazes did this tasteless and clueless crowd in the Whitehouse expect ?

I suppose my attitude could be dubbed "colonial" if I were all white, but since a little over half of me is Cherokee I guess my attitude is native. Who the hell really cares what the Obama's or some bunch of Anglos that bow to another Anglo and dub them queen, or king, or prince or some other such foolishness. This so called queen is just an old biddy that thinks she's better than everyone else, and the Brits and Americans apparently agree. I don't.

I don't consider it important to bow to the Queen of England unless you are bowing before Muslim despots the way Obama did. He kisses their hands and then showed not just indifference, but disrespect to the leaders of countries who are our allies, apparently not his. And now it looks like the disrespect he has shown our own leaders that won't bow down before his highness is beginning to bite him in the butt too. The speaker of the house just turned down his invitation for a steak dinner at the White House. Maybe we finally got some folks in office that won't be willing to compromise their convvictions.

Well someone in DC sticking to their convictions would indeed be refreshing, but I'll believe it when I see it. My entire family supported the T-Parties, but I have a wait and see attitude to their electees. Many talk the talk, but the walk is indeed more difficult.
Many are shouting the praises of Palin at the moment, but excuses are made for her blatant support, and open campaigning for McCain which helped get him re-elected in a state that is at the present under siege by the Federal government. How on earth could McCain be of assistance with his 30+ year career of abolishing our Constitutional, and BORs, that were actually given by God Himself.
This little "tiff" between British "royalty"  ::) and U.S. "royalty"  ::), is no more than a side show and will come to nothing. I could care less whether the prince gets married, or runs off to San Francisco with his boyfriend, and the Obamas furnish the cab fare.
As for the British being our friend, it depends on what one defines as a friend. Because of our decades of nation building foreign policies, our friends are few and far between. Our present government says that Russia, and China are also our friends. Anyone really believe that? We have been sold out.

I won't be able to attend myself in April. The boys have a shooting match and BBQ the same day. I just hope the Queen is not offened by my absence. I think I still have an old lace doily in the trunk in the attic. I suppose I could send that as a consolation.

When you think that a gift for you host is an I pod full of your speeches and you play touchy feely with the queen and your wife's spending makes them seem second class your suddenly become unpopular in their higher society. Could be William did not want an autographed copy of his book for a wedding present.

Bush asked for the bust--Obama didn't.
I can find no overt attempt at  snubbing in this situation---actually---I can't find wherein anybody could call this a snub unless they were just seeking fodder for their own thoughts.
I had a bust of Mark Twain in my den for a number of years---my wife hated it---though not Mark Twain---just the bust.

  Right Billy;
In the news just this morning, the US surpassed the $14 Trillion debt marker.  Also in the news this morning, the Obamas are starting to develop their epicurean tastes.  The "state dinners" they throw for select friends (e.g. Streisand & McCartney), will now include wines which cost up to $600 per bottle !  This from the leader of a nation going broke, cheating returning wounded veterans and refusing to give COLA adjustments on Granny's Social Security check.
Is it any surprise that the hacks in DC .."just don't get it" ?
