In The Spirit of Yogi Berra
« on: January 19, 2011, 12:27:40 PM »
When is this place going to be so popular that nobody comes here no more?

Matt, Greybeard, you have done so well with what you have here. I find it hard to complain that every outdoorsman has recognized it as well. Congratulations on such a well done website. There are worse problems than standing in line.

Thanks for what you do.

Even though Greybeard and I have crossed swords a couple of times, +1 on Empty Quiver's comments concerning this site.

Thanks guys. Current plans call for Matt to take the server to Atlanta tomorrow so we'll likely shut down around midnight tomorrow night and when it comes back up we'll be on the new server and the waiting should end. If not Matt has bigger problems than he knows.

It would have gone earlier this week but Bradley had to have emergency surgery on is toe and that caused Matt to be home baby sitting with the other two while Heather was at the hospital with him.

Tomorrow should be a go unless something else crops up.

GB; Matt; Quick; Stimpylu; Old Fart; Dukillr; et al Mods and fellow GBO Members:  As I have penned before, this site contains a slice of each of us that post here.  Over time we share what is important to us through our mutual hobbies and interests.  We tell one another stories as if we were sitting comfortably around a camp fire.  We each share in the spirit of fishing, hunting, shooting, trading, and all interests of like kind.  Sometimes we even meet REAL people outside of the computer, people we discovered on GBO, and find they are as genuine in REALITY as they are on the Net.  We leave a slice of ourselves here, a trail to find by others and to return to ourselves.  These threads are an important piece of each of us in the weeks, days, hours, and minutes spent posting here.  The GBO timer on each of us tells a story in itself.  Post count does too.
