My neighbor who is moving to a retirement home walked over to my house and handed me this rife last night he has had it for 50+ years he is a retired tile man and took it as part payment for a job.

The bore is pitted in a few places and has about 60% blue on barrel.

it's marked 44 cf on the barrel i'm going to check mfg date.

MFG date is 1874

Everything seems to work fine on it, I gave it a lite cleaning and the bore cleanded up darn nice.

I'll will miss my old neighbor as we always helped each other.

I'm 62 and will pass this gun onto my youngest son as if it had been in my family forever.

My father in law was a Win collector when he passed I got all 13 of his old Win.
