Cleaning mold from rifle cases.

  I dug thru some of my soft cases and found that over the summer some of them have acquired some white mold on them. It happened to cotton, canvas and suede cases. I thought a mild bleach solution may work but unsure. If they became stained slightly that would be okay. Just want to get rid of it. Thanks for any comments. 30cal.

the cotton ones should be able to be washed in a washing machine.

    I would DRY brush the mold off and then use a mild salution of bleach and water to wash the area, let it air dry then have them in a dry well ventalated area.   HTH   Jim

Be sure to use a dust mask when dry brushing any type of mold. It's nasty stuff.

Vinegar will take mold off. You can add a little baking soda to it and use the mix after it quits foaming.
