Difference between a Savage AXIS and EDGE

Been looking to get a Savage Axis in 223 mostly for target shooting and maybe some groundhog hunting.
I can not find anything that tells the difference between the Axis and the Edge models.
Is there any, or just a name change?
Thanks!

There were law suits pending concerning the name EDGE. The rifle has changed to a new name called, Axis.
Same rifle-different name.
Hope this helps

Yes it does! The Axis models are around $40 more!
