500 Bull
« on: January 26, 2011, 06:19:45 PM »
Ok guys heres an argument waiting to happen.  Which is better Bull 500 or S&W 500?  I have the big Smith and a 480 Bull and 454 Sillohette(12 incher).  All are scoped and shoot very well.  Has anyone done a head to head with the big Bull and Smith?  Im asking because I was thinking of getting a 500 Bull to round off the collection.

In my opinion taurus bulls are garbage,I bought a new one in 454 sent it back twice it was loose as a $3 hooker (pardon my french) they sent me a new one wasn't much  better sold it as soon as i got it. As for the 500 Smith had one, better gun, hands down,no contest. If the Bull 500 was any good why did they stop making em. The latest production Dan Wesson 445 Sup Mag were made with brand new CNC machines, best mass produced double action ever made. I had four in three different calibers. Like i said my opinion.

I've had a Bull gun in .454 since they fist came out and there aren't no Smith thats any more accurate. They quit making the .500 because nobody wants one any more, they cost too much to shoot.
RIP Mike. Died on July 14th, around 2am, with his family at his side, he went peacefully to be with god.

Next time I'm home I will do a side by side for you.  Ill even throw in a ruger super redhawk for fun.

My .454 RB is no joke though.  Most accurate of my big bores hands down.
