How about sending it up here, I will cut two dove tails about an inch apart in front of the chamber swell and cut and crown it. Then you can attach anything you like to it. Larry
Thanks for the offer Larry, but I wanta work with it the way it is first to see how it shoots, then I'll probably do the work myself, then I'll have the tool and material to do several more barrels the same way, I think that sounds like a great way to do it, along with gcrank's thoughts, I thank both of you!
Midway has the dovetail cutter for $24 and $4 shipping. Doing the work myself keeps me on my feet and not sitting in front of the computer, I went on a diet a little over a week ago and lost 10lbs already, want to keep the weight loss going thru the summer if I can, then maintain a reasonable facsimile of a former me, my driver's license has me at less than 190lbs, been a long time since it was true!
