That's because most of the congresscritters didn't even read it.  Watch a lot of businesses with just over the magic number of 50 lay off to get to 49 employees to avoid offering health care.  I have been with my company for 35 years and they are laying off 34 workers May 1st and they have cut back about 50 with new technology.  This is out of 1,400 15-20 years ago.  We are down to about 1,100 now by not hiring replacements and only filling critical positions.  We contract out a lot more (outsource).

Dunno what's going on with taxes but I got a statement today showing that they have increased my federal tax with held on my retirement by 46%. I sure hope they don't plan to increase the tax rate that much cuz if they do I won't have enough left to pay the bills. They have also indicated a five year freeze on cost of living increases even tho the cost climbs more each year.

Everything costs more these days. I haven't seen a cost of living raise in over 5 years at work. I plan on retiring in 3-4 years and probably won't see a raise then, either. I don't know how families make it these days with mortgages and all. I don't think it is going to get better anytime soon.

BILL. WOW, 46% is a huge jump. The obamination has froze raises on the disabled too for 2 years straight. POWDERMAN.

It still amazes me how liberals are always screaming "KEEP YOUR LAWS OFF MY BODY MAAAAAAN!" when it come to abortion and drug use but not a peep from them over a federal mandate pushed down our throats by a liberal to buy insurance.
