I wish that Marlin Firearms Co. would bring back a square bolt in the big boy's!! Best shooting rifles I have EVER shot. Shot a small Buck at 492 paces, no wind early morning, aimed a full inch high, caught him in the neck 4 in. below the ear. This was a 1936 carbine. Just think what a 45-70 1881 would do!
