Little by little, law by law were losing our freedom.
10--30 years and it may be down to singles and doubles.

The atf is an unConstitutional illegal rogue agency. Period. By stating sporting use they are themselves attempting to interperet Constitutional law and that is clearly the domain of SCOTUS. By attempting to limit arms to sporting use in law they are overstepping their authority. The Second Amendment does not specify the difference between sporting and or military use. It was the intent of our founding fathers that they be one in the same as outlined by the militia acts.

Though I have no arms that are illegal, I will certainly become a criminal if this tyranny and attempts at oppression continue. hillary was so thoughtfull when she orated on Egypts government to recognize the peoples rights. Why no comment now? Hopefully i will be called again for jury duty  and hopefully it will include mention of a firearm so I can practice my Rights to Jury Nullification.   Shall not be infringed. The atf can suck an egg.

Agreed!........... The ATF, DHS and a load of others.
The scary thing is, Most people I talk to agree with them. You and I, my friend are the minority. They have the Government News agency's  to spread their lies and indoctrination. You and I are very limited in the spreading of the truth. The Internet and word of mouth is about it.

Contacting our Representatives is really a waste of time. They send a form letter back and vote for more freedom reducing amendments.

They know the uprising in the Arab world is spreading to the rest of the globe and will happen here eventually, and would rather face sticks and stones than Guns. They are afraid, and know what's coming! We ain't seen nuttin yet!

I do have to agree with you on all of your points. Though writing our reps may seem futile most times, it is better they receive our input than none at all. If they feel the populace is complacent on issues that are outlined in the Constitution, then they feel they have free reign. I am not about to give that to them and want to make the point that at least a few are watching. If we remain calm and serious without name calling and threats, they will take us seriously. I have received numerous personal responses from Sen Murray here in WA. I do not agree with her politics most of the time, but she knows my thoughts and opinions  are serious concerns. How many correspondences reach the can by interns? Well, I'm sure a few probably do. I get tired of the form letters as well, and usually write back and ask for clarification. Sometimes I get it.
Yes they are watching the arab world and know it could happen here. They may ignore  our Constitution and BOR's, but they are very aware that some of us understand them and their intent.I believe that is one of the reasons that the dept of Homeland Security layed the groundwork when they stated that veterans could be a threat ,and should be on  watchlists. They KNOW that we understand the oath of enlistment and hold true the Honor to have commited ourselves to, even after our discharges. True patriots to the Constitution and people of this nation,  NOT the self serving politicos whos actions reflect their bed fellows wishes. They are all ready to label us right wing extremists and criminals. All IMO of course.

I do, and will continue to write them and Harass them lol! They would listen if enough people did this and complained about their votes contrary to the constituency. But alas! Not to be........Not until they suffer personally economically, will they rise up and raise hell. The reason the people of Egypt are in the streets demanding a new government, is because they are hurting economically. They can no longer survive on two dollars a day. We're really not that far behind them, and when the retirement and SS checks cease to come in the mail, and when a college education will only land you a job at McDonald's, all hell will break loose, and the people will take to the streets and demand a real change.........Not the change G.W. the pseudo Texan  and the Kenyan promised and gave us. JMPO, but my wife say's I'm wrong most of the time. :-X
