Slug Gun questions

Hello to All!

I am new to the forum but have enjoyed it very much!

I am wondering how much difference there is between the H&R guns? I was stongly considering the USH 20ga but then saw the 357Mag/20ga combo, or even the Tracker II. My main use would be deer hunting but also have begun handloading slugs to maybe try the slug shooting games.

Is there really much difference in barrels and their accuracy potential? I know the real answer is buy one of each!

They all can be very accurate shooters. I have both a 20ga Tracker II and a 20ga USH. With lightfield hybrid express 2 3/4" the Tracker will shoot a 3 shot clover leaf at 75 yards and the USH comes in a very close 2nd with 2 3/4" buck hammers. The main difference is weight, the USH is a heavy barrel. These two are definitely going to get entered in the postal shoot! The other thing is the USH is drilled and tapped for a scope mount, I had my Tracker drilled and tapped.

Do you have any idea which barrel is on the 357Mag/20ga slug combo? It is shown in the 2010 catalog but does not say.

From past post I have read I think they are Tracker II barrels that have scope rails permanently attached.
