Only two blacks were newly elected to congress this cycle, and both are Republican. Col West is from southern Florida, a bastion of the Democratic Party. He won in a walk.

It is worth the viewing. This new Congressman was an extremely popular commander in Iraq. He was forced to retire because during an intense combat action a few of his men were captured. At the same time his men had captured one of the guys who were with the Iraqis who captured his men.

Knowing that time was crucial and his interrogators were not getting anywhere with the prisoner COL West took matters into his own hands. He burst into the room and demanded thru an interpreter that the prisoner tell him where his men were being taken. The prisoner refused so COL West took out his pistol and placed it into the prisoner's crotch and fired. Then the COL told the prisoner that the next shot would not miss. So the prisoner said he would show where the American service members were being taken. The Americans were rescued. Some one filed a report on incorrect handling of prisoners. COL West was forced to retire. COL West was just elected in November 2010 to Congress from Florida. During the elections he was part of a panel on how to handle or how to relate to Muslims. The guy is stating the obvious. Now you will have some here who will try to deflect the truth or even blame this on the Jews, but anyone with a half a wit can see that islam an all controlling cult, with desires for world domination.

Put his career in jeapordy to save the lives of his troops. I'd be proud to serve with the man. Others may have a dim view of the sort of action taken, to bad for them, I'm glad we still have warriors left in this nation.

Well OKay...I'll go along with that....maybe. But why in creation was this LtC brought up on charges, and by who, and why was he made an example? There's more to this story apparently. LtC West may be a great guy, admired by those who share his thinking and experiences. However, I don't like his politics and policies,,,policies which I believe have gotten us exactly in the bankrupt position we are in today.

T-Party folks should take a closer look at these neocons, like West, and their Globalist agenda, imo.

I'm pretty sure most of your feelings toward West are this way, because he doesn't make you all warm and fuzzy feeling when he talks about Islam and Muslims. I kind of doubt the tea party would have supported him, if he had a globalist agenda.

From what I read this has nothing to do with Islam or being a globalist. It is about a commander trying his best to get his men back. And yes we need more of those types of folks. Any boss that puts their staff before political view deserves a thumbs up.

The religion (if you can call it that) of Islam is, as has been proven over and over for centuries, a religion intent on conquering the world and subjugating ALL people to it's tenets. The only real goal of Islam is to see that all who do not bow to it, die. Anyone that is not Islamic, and refuses to see that (all) Islamists want them dead, is letting the PC crowd lead them to the slaughter, like sheep. Those who prefer to withhold judgement and wait for proof that Islamists want all "infidels" dead are welcome to do so at their own peril. As for me, I hate them now. I think 2000 years of history backs my feelings.

Actually, I am not really concerned with what happened hundreds and thousands of years ago. The only religion I know of now that advocates the killing of ANYONE (and always has advocated murder) is Islam. Following your logic, all men should be subjected to being drug to their cave by a woman because our male ancesters did it to women and should be held accountable. I do not accept responsibility for other's action in the past. You can bear that cross if you like. I think ALL Islamists that follow the Quaran support the murder of innocents. Show us "conservatives" anywhere in current society where a Christian, Jew, or even a Athiest has called for the death of a very large portion of the world population simply because they don't beleive as they do. The only exception I can think of is the Weather Underground which consisted of left wing radicals. I, personally, do not advocate ANYONE's untimely demise but will steadfastly claim my right to dislike anything I want and right now the cult of Islam is one of those things. I will not go quietly into the night because PC wierdos want me to accept them as my brothers. I accept them a potential murderers and will keep a close eye on them when in my presence.

The ills of the west , like the need to almost strip serch for plane travel to name one. I think TM& said none . The increase in spending alone has all but wrecked the American economy. I think things are going as planned for them. Try to look at the Muslim problems in larger cities for more examples.

I anyone who does not have hate blindness knows. Here TM I'll type really slow for ya. Muslims/Islam has as a base for their religion, subjegation through the sword. (No the Jews didn't do it, before you start that rant). Whether you believe this or not, most people do see the truth of islam. I understand that you have not been around the muslim culture, but those that have know this to be true.

I give you examples of which you ask for yet you ask for more OK the bombings in Germany during the games, the rail road bombing in Spain , bombings in both France And England. The Idea that they could change the way cabs operate in Minn/st p . The list goes on. Its my turn what good have they done for the West or mankind in the last 500 years ?

Ok, I get it. All these insightfull posts have changed my mind. Muslims are great folks that are misunderstood and mean no harm to us Infidels. They are no different than Catholics, Jew, or any Christian. So I guess we just need to support their efforts which are, after all, only their attempt to play catch up for what our ancesters did to them. TM7 you ask for examples and got them . You were ask a question about muslims and instead rant about the economy which was correct as to what happened in some respects but not part of the question. I will not waste anymore effort here until you address the question ask. The easy ansewer is they have little or none . Are you man enough to admit it ?
