How could any woman deliver a live baby and leave it in a toilet to die??? POWDERMAN.

 A woman wouldn't. A child murderer would. The pantywetters would say it's not her fault.
It is societies because raising a child is difficult.

When I was a cop a crime against a child would almost make me cross that line. I had to quit and find a new job before I did.

SHU. Not long ago a woman, no, female, dumped her baby in a porta can at a flea market. They found the female, she's in jail, baby drowned. Lot of sick folks out there. Another example of people not having God in their lives. POWDERMAN.

I'm betting that is a story that has been used to save their hide. I'm no expert on giving birth, but from seeing first hand what my wife went through birthing our two sons. I have a hard time believing that someone birthing a baby, accidentally related it to expelling urine or having a bowel movement.

Crimes against the kids just make me want to cross that line. There is no excuse for hurting them. Dropping a child off in a dumpster or toilet, well it tells me the value people have of a life.  If we don't draw a line someone else will and it won't be where we think it should be.

I feel such anger towards people when I read things like this.   But then my anger burns out quickly and I just feel such a sense of horror, almost sick to my stomach and utter pity for this poor baby.   Infants are so helpless, and they depend so much on their parent for love and care, that it just sickens me to see this ultimate example of betrayal.  Having two children, one that just started walking a month ago, I wonder aghast at how anyone could hurt one.  I think people who treat their children like this will someday face a great judgment, and those that abort them - the same.

There are so many programs out there that will take in these babys, there is absolutely no excuse. There are even privacy programs in place where you can anonimously drop of the baby. It sickens me that "people" find the need to dump them in toilets, dumpsters etc. This abandonment is premeditated murder. The "people" involved know what it takes to make a baby, they know there is a birthing process and they know there is an innocent life involved. They choose to dump the baby becuase they are embarrassed, afraid or just lazy.
There are alot of couples that can't have kids but would love to adopt.

I pity the society that says the taking of innocent lives is ok.

I'm not sure which is worse Powder.  They're both so horrible, that when I start thinking about it, I sometimes have to physically close my eyes and shake my head to try to rid the images from my mind.  So horrid - I don't see how humanity condones it... It should be unlawful. 

I just made a donation today to Americans For Life.  I hope something can be done to change the laws in this once great but declining country of ours someday.

First of all I agree with you guys 100%.  Yet this issue is one I have so many torn feeling with.

The thing I remember most is how people used to say the same things we are saying here about the women that dropped their babies off at the front door of a church in a basket.  At least those babies had the oppertunity to be taken into a loving home by some parrishioners, and given a chance to have a good life. 

Today the lack of guidence in ones life, (Church/religious beliefs) and the fear of prosacution by the local authorities, is the cause of the dumping in dumpsters and toilets. 

The cause of babies is something that has been going on since the beginning of time, will never stop, and cannot be stopped.  Hormones run rampent in young people, and stronger in some than others.  Some young (sometimes older) men take advantage of young women, some young women take advantage of young men.  "So that is not going to change".  All that can be expected is maybe we can teach the youth growing up today to respect life a bit more and not make the mistakes of throwing life away.  If they haven't the resources to take care of the baby, drop the baby off at a hospital, a church, police station, fire station, in a basket on a table in a busy restaurant.  Anywhere but a dumpster or toilet.

A major reason for the actions we read about is the recent prosicution of young women who tried to give the baby away.  These women knew they did not have the resources to raise a baby.  So they did take it to a hospital or church and left it.  Then the police made a relentless search for the missing Mom and brought charges against them for baby abandonment.  So now rather than leave the baby where it can be found and taken care of, they are thrown away.

I guess what I am trying to say is:  Yes the Mom has a lot of blame, but there is enough left over to be spread around to others as well.

I'm reasonably sure that here in KY a woman can legally drop off a baby at a hospitol, police dept, maybe even churches with no questions asked. About 2 years ago a girl was prosecuted for throwing her very much alive baby over a fence at a cemetary outside of town. POWDERMAN.

I think Nebraska has a no prosecution law for leaving a child at a hospital. This did lead to a couple of parents to drop off teenagers.

I agree something needs to be done so babys arent dumped and left to die.

If they avoid even inquiring about dropping a baby off at a police, fire, hospital, etc and then just dump it in the toilet then logic should tell them they are doing something WRONG! Plus, they had nearly a year to CALL SOMEONE! Planned Parenthood, a priest, anyone. The "Noah" law protects them. Other states, don't know. But they could at least call somebody!
