The Big O calls for respect for the Little O
« on: February 11, 2011, 01:51:41 PM »
Quote
Oprah called on President Obama's critics on Friday to “show some level of respect.”

"I feel that everybody has a learning curve, and I feel that the reason why I was willing to step out for him was because I believed in his integrity and I believed in his heart," the influential TV host said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” in Chicago.

Of the negative mood of the country, Oprah added, “I think everybody complaining ought to try it for once.”

She said the presidency is a position that “holds a sense of authority and governance over us all,” and that “even if you’re not in support of his policies, there needs to be a certain level of respect.”

Give us a freakin' break!  The guy has had TWO YEARS to learn the job.  And he still doesn't have it! Would she give anyone on her staff two years to learn the job?

After a bit of searching I can't seem to find her anywhere calling for respect for the previous president.
Your ob't & etc,

There is zero time for a learning curve for the leader of a country! None what so ever! If Obama wasn’t capable to hit the ground running from day one, he never should have asked for the job. Worse yet are the pinheads that voted for him. His previous experience amounted to being a community organizer in one of the most corrupt cities in the country, and a couple weeks in the Senate. That’s it.

Neither one of them deserve any respect at all. Respect isn't deserved, ITS EARNED! And its earned by doing a job that doesn't fall apart due to your ignorance of the system.

Sounds to me like she is admitting he is incompetent with that learning curve comment.
