CCI's new ammo!

Has anyone had the opportunity to use any of the .22 lr short rang green ammo?

I haven't even herd of it!  Got a link?

I have seen hornadys critical defense 22Mag advertised. But hear it will not be available until June or July.

If I'm not mistaken they are required in certain places in Kalif. I don't know why good people still live there.

when they outlaw the sale of lead ammo, I hope they don't outlaw its USE.  I've got a zillion rounds of lead 22lr.

My main concern was not its environmental concerns. I wanted to know how it would perform with respect to ricochet and lethality.

With a 21 grain bullet, it's still zippin' pretty fast for a 22.  Should be a good close range tree rat round!  If it stabilizes.  How long is the bullet?  I guess with it's construction it can still be long enough to stabilize without the weight of lead......might have to give these a try.

Since I live in CA and have hunted in the "condor zone" since I was a kid, I had an interest in this ammo. Over on Calguns.net, the reports are that it's great stuff.....inside of about ten feet out the muzzle.  :(
 
However, I've had pretty good results with CCI TNT Green (lead-free) 17 HMR out of my CZ 452 Varmint. Only accurate lead free rimfire round I've heard of so far...
