Well our president has been very supportive of the protesters in Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, Jordan, Tunisia, Libya, Lebanon & Syria. And the fruit of those protests so far has been the upheaval of 2 governments (Egypt, Lebanon) with more possibly on the way. So it seems that our president would believe that a Day of Rage is the appropriate and effective tool, probably wielded by community organizers (like the IB), to communicate dissatisfaction with the government.

Now in all of the examples above, the protests were opposed to the current leadership. This Day of Rage sounds like its in support of the current agenda, why the rage? If the Tea Party were to coordinate a non-violent protest against the current administration, my impression is that many in our congress would be calling for the same sorts of violence against the protesters that are being called for in Iran (executions, imprisonment).

Saw a cartoon showing the obamination saying he was worried that if protesters in Egypt could throw out an incompetent jerk it might catch on here. I don't know how to transfer it, no link. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D
