"Can" they, as in legally? Sure. That's unrestricted waters, as long as they don't violate the 3 mile limit with anyone that doesn't like them, they're good to go. "Will" they? Probably not. That's a heck of a sail, and its not really in Iran's naval capacity or strategy to go that far. They're regionally focused with their naval power.

I honestly was suprised to hear Iran even had Navel warships. I was unaware before this incident.

Just read on yahoo news that Egypt now says the godless ones can go through. How close to Israel would they have to get for a nuke to be effective in a suicide mission?? How close do you think Israel will let them get?? POWDERMAN.

Diverted means Rummie and Cheney know exactly where those $$ went and for what covert operations it is being used to fund without interference or oversight. Shadow ops and help our Israeli friends et tal.. now have their own private checking account. Like I said I'm not a conspiracy nut , but this isn't much of a stretch for me in my book to draw a conclusion.

Why try and pass congressional muster when you can just divert pre-approved allocations for one thing to fund others and then claim - I just don't know what happened , Vapor, just unaccounted for. And old Comptroller Dov Zakheim never had to answer for it again.

This morning, 2 Iranian warships, a frigate and a supply ship entered the Suez Canal. Couldn't have picked a better time, with Egypt in the middle of a revolution, and the military running the country.
What with Iran having protesting in their country, could be the Iranian navy is just getting the hell out, like the 2 Lybian pilots defected? Oh, I know!! The crew's on those ships have 48's, and are on their way to a Syrian go-go bar, to put some dollar bills in the dancers burka's. We all know that those ships wouldn't be up to no good now would we!!

I see!,,,so 'diverted' is like forging a check from somebody"s account and making it out to CASH. Works particularly well when people's ATTENTION is 'diverted', or when the sum is so huge it boggles one's comprehension.

TM, I really doubt that any superpower has any plans to wipe out Isreal. Within the last 2-3 years, your buddies have proven to the world that their like a snake. They'll bite anybody that puts their hand out. Too many train stations,nightclubs,
subways,hotels,etc., have been blown up. Russia,China,England,Spain,France, have all had their run-ins with your friends, and I believe have started to come to the realization that they can't be trusted. The sampson option is a planned defense of Israeli jews to deny Israel being taken over by other nations. Of course in that, they'll nuke themselves, kinda like a updated 21st century Massada. I know of no plans for the sampson options use offensivly. It is a last resort, last ditch contingency.

This is the 1st I've heard of the 'Samson Option', but from studying the book of AMOS as a main platform, that could play into the scenario, as everything from across the Euphrates River in the extreme north down thru Damascus, Syria, and further south will be destroyed by fire as it ends with Jerusalam itself. That said; I never thought of this possibility.

The sampson option is part of their "never again" philosophy. Never again be subjected to imprisonment, slavery, or genocidal holocaust.
Soviet Russia also said and had the same outlook, when it came to never being invaded again. That just kind of fell apart, but I'm sure Russia itself has not changed that philosophy. But then, don't ALL sovereign nations have the right to defense/defend themselves? (Yes even our "enemies").
