I have a 7/300wby rem 700 action 30" Hart barrel, I shoot 168gr. sierra matchkings with H870 powder and I get a muzzle velocity of 3250. I use this gun for longrange deer hunting in Pa. There is rumors that sierra is coming out with a 175gr. matchking in 2004 with a B.C. of .650, I should be able to get about 3200fps with this bullet and it should work great. Does anyone else have any experience with this round that they would like to share?
