Not the 10th Man, you might try the stickies at the top of the threads, or you could try a few of these, as they are official sources...
The Library of Congress...
www.loc.govThe Official Record of the War of the Rebellion... this was compiled by the Federal Government
after the War. It is comprised of actual letters, dispatches, orders, etc., from BOTH sides. I doubt very seriously if they knew exactly what they were preserving when they did this. It has some of the most compelling and comprehensive information available. The Official Record was compiled in the form of what we would have considered in the 1960's and 1970's as a HUGE set of encyclopedias. Many, many volumes... as you can imagine it
would be, with so much to record.
These are two of my favorite sources to obtain information from. There are certainly countless others out there, but these two are among the very best of the best.
I will try to post a few direct links to some really good topics from these two. It might take me a few days to get them on here, as I am really tied up for a while and I haven't had the time to get on here as much as I would like to.
Happy researching...
