deadbeat cheeseheads.  It's up to $60 million now, and growing.

We'd rather owe it to you than cheat you out of it.

How about we send you some deer from around Horicon Wi. to start paying off the debt?

Oh BTW former goobenor Doyle said the check was in the mail. :D

What part of Manysodas do you reside in? I make two trips to Orr every fall. One to scout and one to rifle hunt. Nice area, not many people. 8)

Here's the latest  -  It's a good read

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2011/03/10/AR2011031002020.html?hpid=topnews

If I understand correctly , I believe the move of the day is now it is in the hands of the Attorney General to rule on the Law and the legalities of yesterdays vote.

Well, then I'm sure you would agree that Obama and the democrates in congress should be in jail. Can you say HC Bill?

I do agree  and no denying their procedural maneuvering was very similar, and should have been looked at and challenged more heavily.

Stay in your seat folks here come the legal filings . Whoohoo... getting more heated.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s state budget repair bill would be unconstitutional because it would violate the constitutional “home rule” that protects cities and villages from interference in local pensions by the state, according to a legal opinion issued today by Milwaukee City Attorney Grant Langley.
In a letter to Milwaukee Alderman Joseph Dudzik, Langley stated, “… in our judgment, the courts would find the statute unconstitutional on three grounds: first, that it unconstitutionally interferes with and intrudes upon the city’s home-rule authority over its pension plan; second, that given certain vested rights or benefits that have accrued to employees currently in the plan, the statute would constitute an unconstitutional impairment of contract rights under the state and federal constitutions; and third, given these same vested rights or benefits, the proposed statute would violate the due process clauses of the state and federal constitutions because it would abrogate the terms and conditions of the Global Pension Settlement …”

It may go to court but the union will not win. Its all BS. States have a right to negotiate salaries and benefits of thier employees.

You can file a motion on anything using the concept of legal arguments. Thats why we have laws and court rooms. So the layers can make money and sometimes the palintiff has a case. In this case, the state will prevail in the end. This would actually be a great show case court room process. It will further validate the unions are corrupt and willing to do anything to line thier pockets and hold the tax payers hostage. The country will see the greed play out in the court room, while the states and the countries finances are in a wreck. It will give the anti union forces more political energy to fight off the unions greed across the country. Because the unions will loose.

Bring it on.

Ha, your going to go by what Tom Barrett's little puppet says???  Secondly, the budget repair bill hasn't even been passed yet.  Just the nut cutting of the collective bargaining.  Trust me, Walker covers his bases.  He had plenty of attorneys look over each and every bill that he is behind.  He had 3 extra weeks to do it!!!  Face it, the unions are done for.  No more mandatory dues collected out of their paychecks.  Hmmmm, how many mob bosses, I mean union bosses are going to have to sell their yachts this year???

+1 on "bring it on"..

I think it's funny...Dems/unions are going to court because they fled the state and refused to vote and things went on without them.
Should make an interesting, but short case.

Just look at the left and how they work.  They toss democracy aside when they lose, they use bully tactics, and wreck public places, they are like a bunch of little spoiled brats.

They will lose this one in the courts as well...then more wrecking public places and crying.  Funny to watch them fall all over the constitution now....when in fact they walk over it daily, and are not even willing to vote and use the process.
Funny stuff.

The unions do not have the power to override a state, or legislation concerning what state employees get paid.  I say take it through the courts and keep slapping them down.  Our new governor is also headed in the same direction, we put him in place to fix Michigan, guess who the first people that scream are?  State employees.  We might be able to go faster then wisconsin...we also replaced our AG... ;)....probably won't get to court here.  If it does...guess what, we replaced our judges too!  We replaced a whole heap of people here.

Not worried about our (Wisconsin) Attorney General or Supreme Court.  Conservatives have the advantage from top to bottom for once! 8)

And since only 7% of the employees in the state are affected by this, not worried about recalls either. 8 republicans and 6 donkeys targets for recalls.  Most of the republicans come from very conservative areas, and at least half of the donkeys won by the slimest of margins.  And realize they were all elected during the ZerObama election...

Its playing out in the best interest of the tax payer. Tax payers out number the state union workers by about 5.5 million in the state of Wisconsin. By quess is we will see a similar ratio in other states that suffer from the same level of oppression & theft by state unions. In the end, the only thing that matters is the ballot box. Your hearing the voices of the pissed off people in all these polls and news reports. No level minded tax payer is going to agree that rediculous wages, benefits, pensions and collective barganing leverage is in thier best interest.

good citizens that they are, the Tea Party no sooner got some mess cleaned up, which was left by the departing leftist, marxist, socialist union pigs...   Then the Union trash decided to smash windows and break into the capitol buiulding again...I suppose tyhey will trash it as they did before..
Some were/are so lazy; they wouldn't even get to their feet to move when the police told them too. police had to drag their lazy butts out !
...But of course, trash is as trash does..

   Just FYI:  Here's a video of the aftermath of the liberal, socialists, Marxist, union and parasite parade they had in Washington on 10/2 ;

Nothing like a small mob of spoiled brat progressives with small minds.  Wreck the property and "threaten" to kill some people to boot.

Typical of liberals and unions. Death threats, racisam, holding the tax payers hostage, running away from their work duties, fraud in the work absence process, destrying public property, ect.

And the liberal media lets them get away with it all scott-free.

BTW: The Wisconsin legislature was in special session so there is not 24 hour notice period on the revised legislation. So all the claims by the left wing liar layers and democrat state senitor hacks for the unions are just that, a bunch of looser liars.

Its playing out in the best interest of the tax payer.

The fiscal issues may play out in the best interests Wisconsin(thats for the people of Wisconsin to determine ), But the collective bargaining issue has played out in the best  interests of large Corps and 2012 republican election strategy.
Eliminating Collective bargaining Has nothing to do with Wisconsin Budgets, but has everything to do with Wisconsin campaign contributions, and REP Fitzgerald admitted as such on FOX the other day.

The majority leader of the Wisconsin state Senate, Scott Fitzgerald, admitted yesterday on FOX News that the radical budget plan he and his brother and Gov. Walker are trying to force on the people of Wisconsin is a deliberate strategy to cripple the Democratic party in 2012 and make it harder for Pres. Obama to win the state of Wisconsin.

Fitzgerald said if public servants lose their right to collectively bargain, it will undermine the unions that represent them in negotiations and that will deprive the Democrats of a key organizing and advertising platform, making it harder to win Wisconsin in 2012.

No Kidding....

And exacty the reason there are teamster buses parked outside the capital.

And the only reason the 14 donkeys left the state, certainly not for the people as they've been preaching.  You would think that they would have gladly voted against such a bill if it was political suicide for the conservatives like they say it will be.

And the reason DNC is pouring millions into recall elections for senators who did nothing but do what they were elected to do.  And the reason Obama sent his political forces into the state.  No kidding...

You act like conservatives are the only ones playing the game here...

The messiah/king is already meddling in the state of Wisconsin.  The libs hewre like to talk as if he is somehow untaintyed by the Chicago machine he was weaned upon.  Please libs, don't lie to yourself like that !  In any case, you are the only ones believing it... :D
Don't forget, B Hussein used money borrowed against the US taxpayers to bail out GM & Chrysler..then gave of hefty share of each to the unions.  Has there ever been a more scandalous, yet under reported bit of capital crookedness in our history ?

So long as those unions by their crookedness, still own any of those companies..I will not buy their products.  Just a matter of principle !

Yep, I was a chevy guy all my life.  Never owned anything but (aside from a $50 AMC Matador in college).  Just bought a F250 Diesel super cab in December, just as a tip of my cap to Ford for not taking the bailout.  And really it's a damn nice truck, but it still feels like I'm cheating on my wife...

I know Ford has it's own union problems but at least they are handling it internally...

Eliminating collective barganing is in the best interest of the tax payers and the budget process. You can spin all you want on this but anytime you reduce leverage of one party in the negotitaiton process, the advantage of that goes to the other party. In this case that other party is the state which is really the tax payer.
