Yep, finally got the pistol version of the Encore.  With one muzzle loader barrel and one rifle barrel I decided I needed the shorter tube too.  I'm also wanting a 24" SS .308 barrel, 18" or 20" SS .444 Marlin barrel, 12" SS .44 Mag, and maybe a 15" SS .223.  Then maybe my set will be complete.  Doubt it, always more barrels on the want list when you have Encoritis.

Here's my Encore with a 15" .308 barrel and Boyd's laminated grips.  Wasn't sure how it would look with the brown wood on the stainless.  I have the gray on my rifle and muzzle loader barrels and they look great.  I think this one is a winner.  Now, just need that Bushnell Elite 3200 2-6X pistol scope and Warne mounts . . .

Hello Ranger413,

That's a great looking rig you've got there - CONGRATULATIONS!  The brown with stainless looks great to me!

Safe and good shooting to you!   :D

Great looking rig Ranger.  Of course, I have to say that since I bought the same setup from Eabco!!  Hey did your grip come with a grip cap?  I bought the buttstock and it came with a cap, but the pistol grip didn't?  Also, my muzzleloading forend came without a sling swivel stud, but the rifle forend and pistol forend came with sling swivel studs.

Go figure...

Anyway, great looking setup.  Let us know how it shoots!!

X

No grip cap.  That will be a future post, I need to know where to find 'em.  When ordering from ebco you are supposed to order the swivels installed.  They cost $10 per pair I believe.

I bought a set of pistol grips from Boyd's as well.  I needed a grip cap just as you do.  I got one directly from T/C for just a few bucks.  Go to their website and call them on the 1-800 number.
