I'm kinda leaning toward taking my Rem700 Lite Varmint Stainless Fluted (LVSF) in 223.  Great pic!  Thanks!!

I like the 32-20 lever gun suggestion. That sounds fun, I think it would be the perfect prescription.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

I have hunted them a few times but I have only used a bow. I wouldn't think that you would need anything large. Getting close to them is not hard at all. If you see a group of them let say 500 yards away you are not making a 500 yard stalk on them, they don't see that well and you are not inside their comfort zone until you get around 30 yards away from them. When you first get them with in that distance you will notice that they will start feeding away from you unless you have the wind in your face and they are headed your way if that is the case sit tight and still and wait for one to get in your comfort zone. I would not mind using a .45 or a 9mm. They can be tuff at times. Best thing to do if you shoot one and do not see it fall over dead give it about 45 mins to die. We had a few charge us and they are pretty unfriendly critters when they are p!$$&d!

The 221FB is good to go as far away as you'd ever shoot them.   My favorites for them was my Contender handguns.    Used a 10" octagon factory barrel for years... ended up with two custom 12" bull barrels.    Also used other 21FB's I've owned, a XP-100 a couple of times, and some of the rifles.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

These are rodents not related to hogs. I like the hunting in Arizona on Public lands. The .17 Remington has always worked very well on the little critters.  :)
